Originally from the Philippines, my family moved to New Zealand in 2010 and settled in Hawera, Taranaki.  I initially began my tertiary studies in science at Otago before transitioning to pursue a Bachelor of Laws degree at Victoria University of Wellington.  I completed my LLB in 2024, followed by the Professional Legal Studies course in 2025, and was admitted to the bar in September 2025.  I am fluent in both English and Tagalog (Filipino).
Prior to joining Connect Legal, I gained experience working as a law clerk at two law firms – one specialising in family law and another focused on refugee and immigration matters.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, running, exploring the outdoors and going on adventures with my husband.  In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music and playing various instruments.  I am an animal lover and have a particular fondness for dogs, cats and capybaras.
